Hand Crafted
Wheels go through a lot of abuse. From sprints, to rocky terrain, to brake-heavy descents. It is important to know your wheels are up for the challenge. That’s why all Roval wheels are hand tensioned and trued to assure the utmost attention is given to this crucial performance component.
Tubeless ready
Roval mountain wheels are equipped with an internal rim groove designed to help seat and hold tubeless tires. Running tubeless wheels means a reduction in pinch flats, less rotational weight for quicker acceleration, and lower maintenance. Additionally, our tubeless rim strip is reusable, simpler, and a cleaner solution than standard tubeless rim tape.
Control SL 29
When it comes to conquering the mountains, high performance, lightweight, carbon wheelsets are vital. Our XC race focused Control SL 29 mountain wheelsets are a phenomenal work of engineering and carbon alchemy. We’ve increased the rim width, making the wheels more impact resistant and allowing for improved tire shouldering. Additionally, DT Swiss hub internals increase durability and help lower the weight to a staggering 1 370 grams. Handling is exceptional, and durability is rock solid and rock resistant.
Zero Bead Hook Carbon Rims
Not machining a bead hook in the rim increases the strength by running continuous fiber from the sidewalls of the rim all the way across the rim bed.
Zer Bead Hook means: Easier to make, stronger, strong hold on the tire, all white offering a more affordable carbon wheel.
