Test bikes

If you’re about to buy a new bike but you’re not quite sure which model to choose, TEST THE BEST is for you. With Specialized, you can test a bike or e-bike before purchase and try out features.

Conditions:

• The bike (if available) may be hired and returned only after prior agreement, and only from Monday until Friday between 11.00 until 18.00.
• Tests are available only for bikes that we offer.
• The bike is handed over in full working order, with the proper adjustments.
• The bike adjustments depend on the cyclist weight and height.
• The bike is available with our without pedals — according to the cyclist’s requirements.
• Before you hire the bike, we’ll take you through its features, safety issues, etc.
• Proof of identity and a deposit — card or cash — are required.

Price list:

• Standard MTB and Road bikes:
  
  
  • Bike rental fee for 1 or 2 days: free of charge.
  • Bike rental fee for 3 or more days: 1,000 CZK per day (including VAT).
  • One-off service charge (SC): CZK 2000, including VAT. The SC includes: bike reservation, transporting the bike to the shop, setting up and adjusting the bike, and an explanation of the functions and controls, bike hire for one day, drawing up of the hire agreement, photographic documentation, and such like. The SC must be paid 3 days in advance.
  • If a new bike is purchased after test bike use (both at Cyklo 69 s.r.o.) the SC + bike rental fee (maximum for 2 days) will be refunded in full. Available retroactively for up to 12 months.
  • If the bicycle is borrowed on a Friday and returned by 12.00 on a Monday, a service charge is applied only.
    
    
• Ebikes:
  
  
  • E-bike rental fee for 1 day: free of charge.
  • E-bike rental fee for 2 or more days: 1,000 CZK per day (including VAT).
  • One-off service charge (SC): CZK 2000, including VAT. The SC includes: e-bike reservation, transporting the e-bike to the shop, setting up and adjusting the e-bike, and an explanation of the functions and controls, including the Specialized Mission Control (iOS/Android) application, e-bike hire for one day, drawing up of the hire agreement, photographic documentation, and such like. The SC must be paid 3 days in advance.
  • If a e-bike is purchased as a result of hiring a test e-bike (in both cases at Cyklo 69 s.r.o.) the customer shall be refunded the SC:
    • In full, if a e-bike is purchased.
    • 50% of the amount of any standard adult bicycle purchased.
    Available retroactively for up to 12 months.
  • If the bicycle is borrowed on a Friday and returned by 12.00 on a Monday, a service charge is applied, in addition to a 1-day hire charge.

• Washing and cleaning of a heavily soiled bike: see current Cyklo 69 s.r.o. price list.
• A deposit is paid separately, before the bike is handed over for testing.
• The SC, and if applicable the bike rental fee, is paid separately, before testing.
• A deposit is charged for each bike and is fully refunded if the cycle is returned in proper condition.
